Mango Jam - Immunity Booster Mango Jam Recipe for Cough & Cold
500 g mango (My mangoes were super sweet & fully riped)
4 - 5 tbsp honey or to taste
1/2 tbsp freshly grated ginger
1 tsp lemon juice
In a blender, add mango and ginger and blend very smooth.
In a nonstick pan, pour the mango puree.
Cook the puree for 10 to 15 minutes on medium-low heat, stirring in between.
Then pour in the honey and well.
Keep cooking, stirring in between until the fruit is jammy and thick, about 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, add in lemon juice and mix everything well.
Simmer for 1 minute and turn off the heat.
Allow the jam to cool down completely.
Store in a clean and dry airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
You can also freeze this jam for up to 3 months.
