Masala Roasted Mushrooms (Airfryer Recipe)

Servings: 2 to 3



Ingredients: 



  • 250 g button mushrooms (cleaned, halved if large) 

  • 1 teaspoon garam masala 

  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder (adjust to taste) 

  • Black pepper to taste 

  • Salt to taste 

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch 

  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger-garlic 

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice 

  • 1  tablespoon oil  



Method: 



  1. In a bowl, add mushrooms.

  2. Sprinkle garam masala, chilli powder, pepper, and salt. 

  3. Add cornstarch, ginger-garlic, lemon juice, and oil. 

  4. Mix gently until the mushrooms are well-coated. 

  5. Preheat the airfryer to 180°C (350°F). 

  6. Transfer the mushrooms to the air fryer basket in a single layer. 

  7. Roast at 180°C for 12-15 minutes or until golden and slightly crisp. 

  8. Shake once halfway.  

  9. Tip: Serve hot as a snack or side dish with green chutney or lemon wedges.
