Quick Mysore Pak Recipe | Diwali Sweet Mysore Pak
1 cup chickpea flour
1 1/2 cup sugar (Use fine sugar or sugar powder, it dissolves easily)
1/3 cup water
1 cup ghee
1/4 cup oil
Mix 1 cup melted ghee & 1/4 cup oil and keep it ready.
Dry roast the chickpea flour for 6-7 mins on a low heat and transfer.
Mix the flour with 1/2 of the ghee and oil mixture, make a smooth paste and keep that aside.
In a pan add sugar and water. Stir and boil the sugar until 1 string consistency. (Make sure that the sugar is completely dissolved).
Add chickpea paste. Stir continuously & cook it on a
medium to low heat.
Incorporate the remaining ghee & oil mixture (ghee and oil mixture should be warm).
Stir & cook until it leaves the sides of the pan and the ghee is absorbed.
Transfer it to the greased tray and let it set.
After 3-4 mins cut and let it cool down completely.
