Quick Mysore Pak Recipe | Diwali Sweet Mysore Pak

  • 1 cup chickpea flour

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar (Use fine sugar or sugar powder, it dissolves easily)

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 1 cup ghee

  • 1/4 cup oil

  1. Mix 1 cup melted ghee & 1/4 cup oil and keep it ready.

  2. Dry roast the chickpea flour for 6-7  mins on a low heat and transfer.

  3. Mix the flour with 1/2 of the ghee and oil mixture, make a smooth paste and keep that aside.

  4. In a pan add sugar and water. Stir and boil the sugar until 1 string consistency. (Make sure that the sugar is completely dissolved).

  5. Add chickpea paste. Stir continuously & cook it on a
    medium to low heat.

  6. Incorporate the remaining ghee & oil mixture (ghee and oil mixture should be warm).
Stir & cook until it leaves the sides of the pan and the ghee is absorbed.

  7. Transfer it to the greased tray and let it set.
After 3-4 mins cut and let it cool down completely.
