Pressure Cooker Kaju Katli | Halwai Style Kaju Katli Recipe In 5 minutes | Cashew Burfi Recipe
1 1/2 cups cashew nuts
3/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp ghee
Silver leaf (Optional)
Grind cashew nuts into a fine powder and keep that aside.
In a pressure cooker add sugar and water and mix.
Cover and cook that on high heat for five short whistles and turn of the stove, then release the pressure.
Immediately add ghee and add cashew powder. Mix well.
Note: If the cashew dough is made correctly you should be able to form a ball, If not then cook that for a few more seconds on the lowest heat.
If it is too hard, then you can add 2 to 3 tbsp hot water and knead the dough before cutting.
Transfer the dough to a butter paper or silicone mat.
Roll the dough with a rolling pin or use a foil container lid and adjusting the thickness according to your choice.
Cut the dough into diamond shape.
