Melt In Your Mouth Instant Barfi Recipe in 5 Minutes | No Cooking and No Mawa | Homemade Burfi


  • 5 tbsp milk 

  • Few saffron strands  

  • 2½ cup milk powder 

  • 1/3 cup sugar 

  • 1 tbsp ghee 

  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder 

  • 4 tbsp roasted pistachios (chopped)  


  1. Add 2 tbsp of warm milk in a small cup, add saffron strands, keep that aside for soaking. 

  2. In a large microwave bowl, add in the milk powder, sugar, ghee, cardamom powder, and mix. 

  3. Now add saffron milk, and mix well. 

  4. Then add 3 tbsp of regular milk and mix well.  

  5. Microwave the milk powder mixture for 1 minute or until sugar dissolves. (Do not overcook).  

  6. Mix well, making sure everything is combined well. 

  7. Grease a container or try with some ghee, sprinkle pistachios. 

  8. Transfer the prepared milk powder mixture into the greased container. 

  9. Spread evenly and press slightly. 

  10. Now unmould and cut into pieces.
