Start by taking a wide, heavy-bottomed pan.
Add 1 teaspoon of ghee and milk powder to the pan.
Turn the stove to low-medium heat and begin roasting.
After 2 minutes, add another teaspoon of ghee and continue roasting.
Stir the mixture regularly for even roasting, keeping the flame moderate.
Roast about 12-15 minutes.
Next, add 2 teaspoons of ghee and mix it in.
Roast until the milk powder turns a beautiful golden brown.
Once the milk powder reaches this golden hue, mix 2 tablespoons of milk thoroughly.
Continue this pattern by adding 2 tablespoons of milk, and mix well.
Finally, add the powdered sugar and turn off the stove.
Make sure the sugar blends well with the mixture. Immediately transfer the pedha mixture to a wide vessel.
After about 2 minutes, or when the mixture is cool enough to handle, grease your hands with ghee.
Now, pinch small portions of the mixture and shape them into cylinders, balls, or any shape you prefer.
To finish, roll the pedha in sugar for a delightfully sweet treat.
Enjoy! This is a creamy and sweet Indian dessert that's sure to satisfy your cravings!
