Sweet Potato Brownies | Gluten-Free & Sugar-Free

Yields: 5 to 6


Ingredients: 



  • 1/2 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked and cooled) 

  • 1 egg 2 tablespoons yoghurt 

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste) 

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 

  • A pinch of salt 

  • Choco chips (optional, for topping)  



Method:  



  1. In a bowl, mash 1/2 cup of cooked sweet potato until smooth. 

  2. Add 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of yoghurt, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, and 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey. 

  3. Mix everything well until combined. 

  4. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix again. 

  5. Pour the batter into a greased or lined baking pan. 

  6. Spread it thin (not thick). 

  7. Sprinkle choco chips on top (optional). 

  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes. 

  9. Let it cool down completely before slicing. 

  10. Enjoy your healthy, soft, and fudgy sweet potato brownies!
