Paneer Kathi Roll | Paneer Roll Recipe | Paneer Wrap

Servings: 2


  • 100-150g paneer 

  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped 

  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 

  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder 

  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder 

  • Salt to taste 

  • 1 teaspoon garam masala 

  • 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup 

  • 2 roti/tortilla 

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced lemon juice 

  • chaat masala powder 

  • Coriander Leaves, chopped 

  • Oil for cooking  


Preparing Paneer Filling:  

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Add chopped onion and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until translucent. 

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw aroma dissipates.

  4. Stir in coriander powder, chilli powder, salt, and garam masala. 

  5. Cook for another minute.

  6. Add bell peppers and green onion, and cook for an additional minute.

  7. Stir in tomato ketchup and mix well.

  8. Add paneer cubes and cook for 1-2 minutes, ensuring they are coated evenly with the masala.

  9. Once the paneer is cooked through, remove the pan from the heat and set aside. 

Assembling Paneer Roll:  

  1. Take a roti or tortilla and place the paneer mixture in the centre.

  2. Top it with sliced onion, a squeeze of lemon juice, chaat masala powder, and chopped coriander leaves. 

  3. Roll the roti tightly to form a wrap.

  4. Wrap half of the rolls in butter paper or aluminium foil for easy handling.  

  5. Enjoy your delicious paneer roll!
