Prawn 65


  • 500g Prawns / Shrimps - 500 gram (Peeled, deveined and pounded)

  • 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp Cumin powder

  • 1/2 Turmeric powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch or Rice Flour

  • 1 tsp Ginger - Garlic paste

  • Few curry leaves Few Green chillies

  • 1/4 cup Oil


  1. Clean prawns well and gently pound the prawns. 

  2. In a large bowl, add pounded prawns, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, cornstarch, or rice flour. 

  3. Combine gently, cover and refrigerate the prawns for 30 minutes. 

  4. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, place the marinated prawns, and fry both sides on medium-high heat for 2 minutes or until crispy. 

  5. Don't overcrowd the prawns; once the prawns are ready, keep that aside.  

  6. In the same pan, add curry leaves, chillies and sauté for a minute. 

  7. Then add fried prawns and stir well and serve hot or warm.
