Prawn 65
Ingredients:
500g Prawns / Shrimps - 500 gram (Peeled, deveined and pounded)
2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tbsp Cornstarch or Rice Flour
1 tsp Ginger - Garlic paste
Few curry leaves Few Green chillies
1/4 cup Oil
Method:
Clean prawns well and gently pound the prawns.
In a large bowl, add pounded prawns, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, cornstarch, or rice flour.
Combine gently, cover and refrigerate the prawns for 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, place the marinated prawns, and fry both sides on medium-high heat for 2 minutes or until crispy.
Don't overcrowd the prawns; once the prawns are ready, keep that aside.
In the same pan, add curry leaves, chillies and sauté for a minute.
Then add fried prawns and stir well and serve hot or warm.
