Sautéed Chinese Long Beans & Sautéed Okra | Simple and Tasty Sabzi Recipes
Chinese Long Beans Sabzi - 1
Ingredients:
800g to 1 kg Chinese Long Beans
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp Bengal gram
2 tsp urad dal
1 tsp grated ginger
Curry leaves
7-8 green chillies
2 onions
Lemon juice
1/2 cup grated coconut
Some coriander
Method:
Wash and cut the Chinese Long Beans, cook for 5 min with some water and salt.
Drain the water (You can use the water to make curry or soup).
Heat the oil and add mustard seeds, let it crack.
Add Bengal gram & urad dal fry for few seconds, then add ginger, curry leaves chillies & saute.
Add onions and saute, adjust the salt.
Add lemon juice, Chinese long beans mix and cook forfew mins.
Add coconut and coriander mix gently.
Add some coriander mix and stir occasionally and cook for 5 more mins.
Okra Sabzi | Bhindi Masala - 2
Ingredients:
1 kg okra
2 tbsp oil or ghee
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 onions
Few curry leaves
2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Some coriander
Method:
Wash and dry the okra, trim the ends and cut.
Heat the oil and add mustard seeds, let it crack.
Add curry leaves and onions, saute.
Add turmeric powder, salt, okra and chilli powder saute cook for 5 mins.
Add lemon juice mix and cook forfew mins on a low heat on a low heat.
