Indian Street-Style Chicken Burger

Indian street-style burgers are a tantalizing fusion of traditional Indian flavours with the beloved concept of burgers. They feature a seasoned patty, unique condiments, and a variety of toppings, all served within a soft bun. These burgers are delicious and popular street food across India, offering a burst of flavour in every bite.
For Spicy Chicken Patties:
500g ground chicken
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon garam masala
1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 green chilli
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
2 tablespoons coriander
2 tablespoons mint
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Oil for cooking
For Sriracha Mayo:
1/4 cup sriracha
1/4 cup mayonnaise
5 burger buns
In a small bowl, mix sriracha and mayonnaise well.
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, chilli powder, salt, green chilli, ginger-garlic paste, coriander, mint, and lemon juice.
Mix thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, grease the inside of a measuring cup.
Fill it with one portion of the chicken mixture.
Transfer the mixture onto a chopping board lined with foil or clingfilm.
Use a greased plastic lid to press the mixture evenly.
You can use any bottle to run over the lid for even thickness.
Heat a generous amount of oil and carefully place the shaped chicken mixture.
Let them sear for 3-4 minutes without touching.
Flip the patties using a spatula and let them brown on the other side for 2-3 minutes.
Gently press, flip, and cook the patties until they are done.
To assemble the burgers, place the bottom burger buns on a plate.
Apply the desired amount of sriracha mayo.
Next, place the chicken patty on the bun.
Add onion slices, cucumber slices, and tomato slices.
Spread green coriander chutney on the other bun and place it on top of the assembled burger.
