Dorade | Seabream Tawa Fish Fry
For the marinade:
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1 tbsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Dry Mango Powder
1/2 tsp Salt or salt to taste
1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1/2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
3 - 4 tbsp Water
4 Dorade / Seabream Fish
1/4 cup Oil
Wash, clean, prep the fish and then make small gashes on the fish with the sharp knife.
In a bowl add all the ingredients listed under marinade.
Add water little by little and make a thick paste.
Apply the marinade on the fish and also make sure that the masala paste evenly coated.
Apply it in the gashes so that fish gets evenly seasoned.
Marinate the fish in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
In a Nonstick pan or Tawa heat the oil until hot.
Gently place the fish in oil, let the fish cook for two-three minutes. After 2-3 mins gently move the fish. (This trick will help the fish not to sick at the bottom)
Now flip the fish and cook around 2 to 3 minutes or until it's done.
Serve hot will some lemon wedges and onion.
