Restaurant Style Tiffin Sambar Powder | Sambar Powder | ( Part1)
1/2 cup channa dal
2 tsp fenugreek seeds
5 tbsp coriander seeds
16-20 red chillies
1 tbsp desiccated coconut (Optional)
Few dried curry leaves (Optional)
1/2 tsp asafoetida
2 tsp cumin seeds
1. Roast all the above ingredients without burning.
2. Let it cool down completely and make a coarse powder.
3. Store the sambar powder in the airtight container.
