Chicken Fry | Spicy Chicken Fry Recipe
Servings - 2
1/2 kg chicken on the bone ( Wash, cut into desired size pieces)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1/4 cup yoghurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp garam masala
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tbsp gram flour
Salt to taste
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp oil, regular or sesame, for cooking
Wash and cut the chicken into desired size pieces.
In a large bowl, add chicken pieces, ginger-garlic paste, yoghurt, lemon juice, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, gram flour, salt and sesame oil.
Combine everything well and rest the chicken fr 30 minutes.
Heat oil sesame oil or regular oil in a pan.
Once the oil heats up well, carefully place the marinated chicken.
Cover and cook the chicken for 10 minutes on medium-high heat.
After 10 minutes, remove the lid, and flip the chicken.
Cover and cook the chicken on medium-high heat until done.
Stir and move the chicken to one side of the pan.
Add curry leaves and stir until crispy.
Now combine the chicken and curry leaves.
Cook for a minute and serve the chicken fry with lemon wedges.
