Orange Cake for Beginners | Orange Bread Cake At Home
Zest of 2 oranges
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
120g melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 orange juice
Preheat oven to 160⁰ C.
Grease 10 x 4.5-inch (25×10 cm) loaf tin and line the bottom with parchment paper.
Add flour, sugar, baking powder, and mix well in a large bowl.
Whisk the eggs, butter and vanilla in another bowl until pale and fluffy.
Then combine wet and dry ingredients.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes or until an inserted skewer comes out clean.
Brush with orange juice to keep the cake moist, then dust with powdered sugar to finish the cake.
