Microwave BANANA BREAD CAKE in 5 Minutes | You're Never Going to Fail with this Recipe

Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup Nutella

  • 1 egg

  • 1/3 cup whipping cream

  • 1 cup self-raising flour (Watch Video on my channel for self-raising flour )

  • 1 banana



Nutella glaze:


  • 1 tbsp whipping cream

  • 2 tbsp Nutella


Method:


  1. In a large bowl whisk the Nutella and egg together until well combined.

  2. Then add whipping cream whisk for 5 minutes or until smooth and well combined.

  3. Now add in a pinch of salt and fold in the flour in 3 batches. Stir until no white clumps remain.

  4. Then peel and chop the banana, add the chopped banana to the Nutella mixture and fold.

  5. (Don't over mix the batter).

  6. In a microwave container place, the parchment paper.

  7. Pour the batter into the prepared container and microwave for 5 minutes or until an inserted skewer comes out clean. (My cake took exactly 5 minutes to cook).

  8. Let the cake cool down completely before decorating. (Do not refrigerate the cake).

  9. In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tbsp Nutella and whipping cream.

  10. Use a spoon to drizzle the Nutella glaze over the banana bread.

  11. Let it sit for a few minutes and then slice to serve.
