Ayurvedic Beverages Kashaya & Golden Milk For Cold-Cough
Ingredients For Kashaya:
300 ml Water
1-inch Piece Ginger
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
10 Mint leaves
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
1/2 tsp Crushed Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1 tbsp Jaggery
Method:
In a pot add water and then add ginger, coriander seeds, mint leaves, cumin powder, black pepper and turmeric.
Bring the water to boil and then add jaggery.
Cover & simmer for the mixture 5 minutes and then strain.
Consume the kashaya immediately when it's hot.
Ingredients For Golden Milk:
300 ml Milk
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
1 tbsp Organic Honey
Method:
In a pot add milk and boil, then transfer the milk into the tumbler.
Now add turmeric, pepper powder and honey.
Mix well and consume the golden milk immediately when it's hot.
