Poached Egg

Servings - 3  


  • 6 cabbage leaves 

  • 3 eggs 

  • Salt to taste 

  • Pepper to taste 

  • 3 tablespoons red bell pepper, chopped 

  • 3 tablespoons yellow bell pepper, chopped 

  • 3 tablespoons spring onion, chopped  


  1. Wash and pat dry the cabbage leaves. 

  2. Take 2 cabbage leaves and add one egg to it. 

  3. Repeat with the other 4 cabbage leans and 2 eggs. 

  4. Transfer them to a steamer insert. Next, sprinkle some salt and pepper. 

  5. Add bell peppers and spring onion over the egg. 

  6. Steam them for 5 minutes or until done. 

  7. Serve immediately.
