Onion Cheese Bread | Caramelized Onion Bread Recipe
2 medium onion rings
1 tbsp oil
200 ml lukewarm milk
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt or to taste
125g grated cheddar cheese
275g all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
Slice the onions into rings Preheat the oven to 190 °C & grease the loaf tin; keep that aside.
Heat the oil in the frying pan, Fry the onion ring for 8 to 10 minutes and let it cool down.
In a bowl, mix the eggs, margarine and milk.
Add sugar, salt, cheese and flour; mix well.
Add in the cooled onion rings.
Place mixture in the loaf tin and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes.
