Rava Roti | Semolina Roti


  • 1cup Rava/ semolina

  • 1 1/2 cup water

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1 green chilli finely chopped

  • Some finely chopped Coriander Leaves

  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Heat water, add salt & cumin seeds. 

  2. Add Rava & mix it without any lumps 

  3. Cover & cook on low heat for about 5 mins,

  4. Let it cool down completely then add onion, chilli, and coriander, mix well.

  5. Divide the dough into 5 equal parts pat them on greased wax paper as thin as possible 

  6. Then heat the tawa drizzle some oil. 

  7. Cook the roti for 1/2 min before turning over.

  8. Apply some oil, Cook each side about 1 to 2 mins
