Vegan Balsamic Mushrooms with Basil & Garlic

Servings - 2


  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar 

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar 

  • 1/2 tbsp paprika powder 

  • 1/4 tsp salt 

  • Sriracha to taste 

  • 3 tbsp olive oil 

  • 3 tbsp garlic cloves, finely chopped 

  • 200g mushrooms sliced 

  • Basil as required   


  1. Add balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, paprika powder, salt, and sriracha in a bowl.  

  2. Mix well, and keep that aside. 

  3. Heat the olive oil in a  pan on medium heat and then add the garlic. 

  4. Sauté the garlic until golden brown.  

  5. Now, add the sliced mushrooms and stir.  

  6. Sauté the mushrooms until golden brown on medium heat.  

  7. Add the prepared sauce to the pan and mix well until sauce is well combined with the mushrooms. 

  8. Now, turn off the heat and stir in the basil. 

  9. Serve these balsamic mushrooms with rice or noodles or even on a toast.
