Potato Bell Pepper Masala | Potato Capsicum Masala
2 tbsp peanuts
8 to 10 cashews
1 tsp fennel seeds
2 green chillies
Little water to make a paste
Grind all the above ingredients into a fine paste and keep that aside.
3 tbsp oil
2 large onions (finely chopped)
2 large tomatoes (finely chopped)
1 tsp ginger & garlic paste
Salt to taste
3 Large potatoes (peeled & cubed)
1 large green bell pepper / Capsicum
2 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Heat oil in a pan, add onion and saute for a minute, and then add ginger garlic paste saute.
Add tomatoes saute, cover and cook for 2 minutes.
Add potato, salt, and little water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until potatoes are soft and tender.
Add coriander powder, chilli powder, and turmeric powder mix well.
Add masala paste and some more water. Mix well and simmer for 2 minutes.
Add in capsicum, mix well. Cover and cook that for 2 more minutes.
