SWEET & STICKY HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN BREASTS
600 g chicken breasts
5 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbs honey
1 tbsp mustard paste
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp paprika powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp white pepper powder
4 tbsp water
2 tbsp oil
Combine the soy sauce, honey, mustard paste, minced garlic, paprika powder, salt, pepper powder and water in a small bowl.
Mix well, and keep that aside.
Clean and cut the chicken breasts, pour the sauce over the chicken and coat well.
Cover and let the chicken rest for 30 minutes.
Once the chicken has marinated, heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken, cover and cook on medium-high heat for 5 minutes.
Remove the lid and flip the chicken, again cover and cook the chicken for 5 more minutes.
Now flipping the chicken occasionally, cook until golden brown on all sides.
Garnish with chopped spring onion, if desired.
