READY TO USE BANGALORE STYLE Masala Puri Powder | Pani Puri Masala Powder | Golgappa Masala Powder
Masala Puri Powder:
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1/3 cup coriander seeds
1/4 fried gram (roasted chana dal)
3-inch cinnamon sticks
3 mace strands
3 cloves (optional)
3 kapok buds (marathi moggu)
2 cardamom pods
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
Method:
Roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds and fried gram until aromatic.
Add cinnamon sticks, mace strands, kapok buds, cardamom pods, nutmeg powder and roast for a few seconds.
Let that cool down completely and transfer to the blender.
Now add nutmeg powder, then grind into a fine powder.
Store that in an airtight container.
Pani Puri Masala Powder | Golgappa Masala Powder:
2 tablespoon cumin seeds
2 tablespoon coriander seeds
1 tablespoon black salt
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon dry mango powder
1 teaspoon pepper powder
1 tablespoon garam masala
A pinch of asafetida (hing)
Method:
Roast cumin seeds and coriander seeds until aromatic.
Grind to a fine powder, then add black salt, salt, red chilli powder, dry mango powder, pepper powder, garam masala, asafoetida, and mix well.
Store that in an airtight container.
