Crispy Baby Potatoes Recipe | Smashed Potato

Servings - 2


  • 400g baby potatoes 

  • 1 tsp oregano 

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes 

  • 1 tsp paprika powder 

  • 2 tbsp garlic cloves, chopped 

  • 2 tbsp olive oil 

  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese 


  1. Clean potatoes and pour the water into a large pot.  

  2. Add the cleaned potatoes and bring them to a boil. 

  3. Let the potatoes cook until just tender.  

  4. Drain the water and keep that aside. 

  5. Gently press down on each potato with a glass or fork, breaking the skin and smashing them slightly.  

  6. Add potatoes, oregano, salt, chilli flakes, paprika powder, garlic cloves, olive oil, parmesan cheese, and combine well in a large bowl.  

  7. Transfer the potatoes to a baking sheet and distribute them evenly. 

  8. Bake at 180 C for 15 to 20 minutes or until crispy.
