Chicken Kalmi Kebab | Pan Kalmi Kebab


  • 1/2 cup Yogurt

  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice

  • 3 tbsp Cream

  • 3 tbsp Cashew Paste

  • 2 tbsp Oil

  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder

  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder

  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder

  • 1 tsp Garam Masala

  • 1/4 tsp Red Food Coloring

  • Salt to taste

  • 8 Chicken Drumsticks


  1. Clean chicken pieces, pat dry and keep that aside.

  2. Take a clean bowl, put ginger-garlic paste, salt and vinegar and mix well.

  3. Add chicken, rub well and keep aside.

  4. In a large bowl, whisk in the yoghurt, lemon juice, cream, cashew paste and oil.

  5. Then add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  6. In this mixture add chicken drumsticks and coat well.

  7. Cover & refrigerate up to  2 hours or overnight.

  8. In a heavy bottom nonstick pan place the chicken.

  9. Cover & cook about 2-3 mins per side or

  10. Cook until the sauce gets thick and chicken gets dry.

Serve hot with onion and mint chutney.
