Moist French Apple Cake with Ice-Cream | Step By Step French Cake

Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1½ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup unsalted softened butter
½ cup sugar (plus extra for sprinkling)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 apples (peeled, cored, and chopped into small pieces)
Method:
Set your oven to 175°C.
Grease a 9-inch cake pan with butter or cooking spray.
If using a regular pan, place parchment paper at the bottom and grease it again.
In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
Add eggs one by one, mixing well each time. Add vanilla and mix.
Now, add the flour, baking powder, and salt and mix slowly until it is smooth.
Gently fold in the apple pieces with a spatula.
Pour the batter into the pan, spread it evenly, and sprinkle some sugar on top.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool for 2 minutes.
Carefully remove it from the pan.
Enjoy it plain or with ice cream!
