Rava Roti | Semolina Roti
1cup Rava/ semolina
1 1/2 cup water
1 tbsp oil
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 green chilli finely chopped
Some finely chopped Coriander Leaves
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp salt
In a pan add water, salt, oil and cumin seeds.
Just warm the water for a few seconds. (Do not boil the water).
Now add rava and mix that well without any lumps.
Cover and cook the rava mixture on low heat for about 5 mins.
Let mixture cool down completely, then add onion, chilli, and coriander, mix well. (It should be like a dough).
Divide the dough into 5 equal parts, then pat them on greased wax paper as thin as possible.
Heat the non-stick pan/Tawa, drizzle some oil and cook the roti for 1/2 minutes before turning over.
Now flip the roti and drizzle some oil, Cook each side about 1 to 2 minutes or until done.
Serve hot with coconut chutney.
